Always on the road.

Hing Yeung rides 12 bikes.

On your marks, get set for adventure, go: If Hing had his way, he'd always be on the road. Travel, travel and more travel. On one of his 12 motorcycles. It's no surprise: Hing is at home everywhere, always open to the world. Born in Hong Kong and raised in the Netherlands, he now lives and works in Long Beach, California.

I don't clean my bike. I ride in the rain. #MAKEITSPEZIAL "

His thirst for adventure has taken him through 25 countries on his motorcycle. Southeast Asia, Colombia, Morocco, western Europe, the US and Mexico, just to name a few. His hero: Norwegian, Helge Pedersen. The adventurer clocked 250,000 miles and travelled 77 countries in ten years.

Hing Yeung and Helge Pedersen. The two men have something else in common: the BMW R 80 G/S. Hing's favourite motorcycle. It's an iconic bike and legendary in the motorcycle world. "It's the best bike ever made", Hing gushes. Of the dozen bikes he owns, six are BMW enduros: three R 80 G/Ss, an R 80 G/S HPN Dakar Replica and two R 80 G/S Paris-Dakar. All legendary motorcycles. The R 80 G/S is a motorcycle for winners: the bike rode to victory in the Dakar Rally in 1981, 1983, 1984 and 1985. When Hing climbs on one of these legendary bikes, he relives its history.

Hing loves to travel on the spur of the moment and without a lot of planning. Just rev it up and go. He needs the freedom to stop whenever and wherever he wants. Without having to think about other riders. "You always meet people on the road anyway". And he'd rather spend time talking to people than shining up his bike. His bike-washing method is unconventional: "I take a ride in the pouring rain. It's super easy and doesn't take more than five minutes". As he rides, he listens to the Pharrell Williams song "Come get it Bae": "Gonna pop a wheelie, don't try to high".

It's obvious that Hing can't live without his bikes. But the professional creative director would also be lost without his smartphone. He uses it to navigate cities, call friends and capture amazing photos. And since it's easy to work up an appetite on the road, he uses the "Food Finder" app to find nearby restaurants. Hing is always ready to go. He wants to "explore more" – that's the motto he would scrawl on his tank. This globetrotter has 25 more countries to discover. And off he goes.
